Brewster's Millions

Millions of millions
This is a great old classic. If you are expecting the Richard Pryor version this is not it. If you like watching black and white and/or original versions rather than modern remakes then you'll like this movie. They changed the movie a lot when they made the remake. I like the classics so I liked this, the original, much better.

What A Fun Zany Classic Film .
This has got to be the zany film i ever saw. i caught it on TCM (Turner Classic Movies) a couple of weeks ago and i just loved it's quite funny. about the same premise as the 1985 film starring Richard Pryor and John Candy, but the writing is alittle sharp in a good way makes this a joy to watch. this guy's uncle leaves him alot of money, the catch is he has to spend a million of it in 30 days. can he do it ? i guess you'll have to catch in on TCM or buy the vhs tape of this movie to see what happens. i do hope that this film will be released on DVD in the future because it's a classic.
The Cast in this picture is excellent an the direction is great too. Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson costars in this as the straight man in this zany picture, just thought you should know,he's funny also.

Highly Recommended.

Great Fun
Breathless performance by Dennis O'Keefe here. And it's nice to see and hear and feel what a couple in love looks like before they marry. Monty has to spend a million dollars two months before his 30th birthday and he can't tell his friends or his fiance about it. If he succeeds, he will earn 7 million dollars in inheritance. How Monty does succeed in spending one million against all odds is the really fun plot. There wasn't a dull moment in this film, and it's nearly fingernail-biting suspense in the last six minutes of the film, too. Helen Walker plays Monty Brewster's stunningly beautiful if serious fiance in this utterly zany extravaganza. A real pleasure from beginning to end.
